Noting how hard Mario and friends had worked to obtain the Stars, Brighton and Twila apologize to them for the hassle their quarrel had caused, and make up. As with the previous main installments in the series, it was developed by Hudson Soft and published by Nintendo, and was first released in Japan on November 18, 2004, the only installment on the GameCube to be released there first.
